 Total energy will be conserved 

Work done by stopping force = loss in K.E 

F \times 0.40 = \frac{1}{2} m [ v _{i}^{2}- v _{f}^{2}]

F \times 0.40 = \frac{1}{2} \times 0.03\times [ (60)^2-0]

F \times 0.40 = \frac{1}{2} \times 0.03\times 360 0

F = 135 N
