\mathrm{ a =\frac{M g}{M+\frac{M R^2 / 2}{R^2}} \Rightarrow \frac{2 g}{3} }

Tension,\mathrm{T=m(g-a) =M\left(g-\frac{2 g}{3}\right) }

                 \mathrm{ =\frac{M g}{3} }

Hence option 4 is correct.
