As we have learnt,

For minimum molar mass, there must be atleast one atom of Sulphur in the molecule.

Now, 8g of S is present in 100g of compound.
Thus, 32g of S will be present in = (32 x 100) / 8
                                               = 400g

Therefore, minimum molecular weight of compound = 400gmol−1

Therefore, Option(2) is correct
