The arranfgemment of ovules within, the ovary is known as placentaion. The placentations are of different types - marginal, axile, parietal, basal, central and free - central. The ovules develpo in the inner wall of the ovary or on peripheral part in parietal placentation. In this type, ovary is one chambered but becomes two chambered due to the presence of false septum called replum, e.g, mustard.
