The cockroach's nervous system is distributed throughout the body. The suboesophageal ganglion gives rise to a twin nerve cord that goes through the thorax and abdomen. The nerve cord has six ganglia in the abdomen (1st-5th and 7th segments) and  three ganglia in the thorax. 

Option b is the correct answer.
