Difference between pharmacology and pharmacognosy.

Pharmacology is the branch of science that deals with medicine and studied the effects of use , misuse , effects and illeffects of chemical compounds such as medicinal drugs on living beings.
On the other hand, pharmacognosy is the branch of pharmacology that basically involves the study of origin of drugs in their naturally occuring refined form.
