As we learnt in

Deviation from thin prism -

delta = left ( mu -1
ight )A

- wherein

Applicable when A is very small

 ( i.e. thin prism )

 Net deviation = 0

 \therefore \delta_{1}+\delta_{2}=0

\Rightarrow (\mu_{1}-1)A_{1}=(\mu_{2}-1)A_{2}

\Rightarrow |A_{2}|=\frac{\mu_{1}-1}{\mu_{2}-1}A_{1}=\frac{1.5-1}{1.75-1}\times 15^{o}=\frac{0.5}{0.75}\times 15^{o}

A_{2}=10^{o}

Option 1)

Option 2)

10^{\circ}

Option 3)

12^{\circ}

Option 4)
