ii) It facilitates the exchange of gases and the transport of hormones. It does not play any role in synthesis of hormones. 

iii) It is a fluid connective tissue

iv) Hypothalamus is not a lymphoid organ. It is a part of the forebrain.

v) It contains all contents of blood except erythrocytes (RBC) and certain proteins

vi) It helps in the transport of digested fats through lacteals in the intestinal villi.

Hence, option 2 is the correct answer.
