As we learned

Co-efficient of Real Expansion -

\gamma _{r}=\frac{Real\ increase\ in\ Volume}{Initial\ volume\times \Delta \theta}

\gamma _{r}=\frac{(\Delta v)_{r}}{v\times \Delta \theta}

Expansion in the volume of the vessel is equal to expansion in the volume of the mercury

\Delta V_{a}=\Delta V_{L}

\Rightarrow V_{g}\cdot r_{g}\cdot \Delta \theta = V_{L}\cdot r_{L}\cdot \Delta \theta

\Rightarrow V_{L}\cdot r_{g}\cdot \frac{r_{g}}{r_{L}}=1000\times \frac{3\times 9\times 10^{-6}}{1.8\times 10^{-4}}=150 cc
