As discussed in Transcription in Eukaryotes & RNA Processing -

 

 To produce a mature mRNA, introns are removed from the sequence. These sequences do not code for anything and must be removed in order for the RNA to encode the correct protein. Exons are the segments of genes that code for proteins. Once the introns are removed, the exons are spliced together by the spliceosome to make the final, mature mRNA.Hence, the correct option is (c).
