Pachytene: During this period, non-sister chromatids can exchange genetic information. (not containing identical DNA information). Crossing over takes place at this stage of Prophase I.

In Interkinesis, The cells go through cytokinesis I before entering interkinesis. The transitional period between meiosis I and meiosis II. Meiosis II is getting about to happen. It is called as intermeiotic interphase.

When chromosomes of the same type are paired together during meiosis, a biological event called crossing over takes place. Parts of the chromosome can be exchanged when two chromosomes, one from the mother and one from the father, line up. The same genes may be present on the two chromosomes in different versions.

Option 4 is the correct answer.
