The amount of Alpha rays received in 2 minutes is how many more/less than the amount of radio waves received in 4 minutes?

According to the pie chart, 

  • Alpha rays: 10%
  • Radio waves: 15%
  1. Amount of Alpha rays received in 2 minutes: Per minute Alpha rays = 25% of 3600 $$ 
    \frac {10} {100} \times 3600=360
    $$ In 2 minutes = 360 × 2 = 720 units
  2. Amount of Radio waves received in 4 minutes: Per minute Radio waves = 15% of 3600 $$ 
    \frac {15} {100} \times 3600=540
    $$ In 4 minutes = 540 × 4 =2160 units

Difference: 2160 − 720 = 1440 units
