Relation between Kp and Kc -

K_{p}=K_{c}(RT)^{\bigtriangleup n}

while calculating the value of Kp , pressure should be expressed in bar.

\bigtriangleup n = (number of moles of gaseous products) - (number of moles gaseous reaction)

 

 K_{p}=K_{c}.(RT)^{\Delta n}

In 1), 2) and 3) \Delta n=0, \:\:\:i.e\:\:\:\:K_{p}=K_{c}

In 4) \Delta n=2-1=1

\therefore K_{p}\neq K_{c}
