As we learnt in Graham’s law of diffusion -

\small r_1/r_2=\sqrt{M_1/M_2}  where r is the rate of diffusion of gas and M is the molar mass.

So, the volume of \small \mathrm{SO_2=20\ cm^3} and time = 60 seconds
Therefore, rate \small =20/60
And for Oxygen, we have time = 30 seconds. Thus,

\small \frac{20}{60}\times \frac{30}{V}=\sqrt{\frac{32}{64}}

\dpi{100} \small\mathrm{ V=14.14\ cm^3}
