    2.42 x 10-8

  • Option 2)

    2.66 x 10-12

Solubility product constant -

e.g.

BaSO_{4}\rightleftharpoons Ba^{2+}(aq)+SO_{4}^{2-}(aq)

K=\frac{[Ba^{2+}]\:[SO_{4}^{2-}]}{[BaSO_{4}]}

- wherein

For a pure solid substance the concentration remain constant

\therefore \:K_{sp}=K[BaSO_{4}]

               =[Ba^{2+}]\:[SO_{4}^{2-}]

    K_{sp}=solubility\:product

 Ag_{2}C_{2}O_{4}\rightleftharpoons 2Ag^{+}+C_{2}O_{4}^{2-}

[Ag^{+}]=2[C_{2}O_{4}^{2-}]=2.2\times 10^{-4}

=[C_{2}O_{4}^{2-}]=1.1\times 10^{-4}

K_{sp}=[Ag^{+}]^{2}[C_{2}O_{4}^{2-}]

=\left ( 2.2\times 10^{-4} \right )^{2}\left ( 1.1\times 10^{-4} \right )

=5.324\times 10^{-12}

Option 1)

2.42 x 10-8

This is incorrect option

Option 2)

2.66 x 10-12

This is incorrect option

Option 3)

4.5 x 10-11

This is incorrect option

Option 4)

5.3 x 10-12

This is correct option
