In mammals two sets of teeth (milk & permanent teeth sets) arise during life time hence called diphyodont pattern of teeth eruption.

Primary ( deciduous ) or milk teeth is set of 20 teeth and permanent teeth is set of 28 - 32 teeth.

Mice have Monophyodont pattern while fish and reptiles have polyphyodont pattern of teeth eruption.

Hence option A is correct.
