Hyaline cartilage is the embryonic skeleton in adult humans. It is present at the ends of bones in articular cartilage, at the ends of the ribs, larynx, trachea, bronchi, and nose.
The Eustachian tube is a hollow canal of about 36 mm in length. The first 12 mm is made of bone and the remaining 24 mm is made of elastic fibrocartilage.
