What are biopolymers
The building blocks of living things are repeated monomers that make up biopolymers. These things are good for the environment, important for life, and break down naturally. Proteins (which are the building blocks of connective tissue and enzymes), nucleic acids (which are the building blocks of DNA and RNA), and polyesters (which are the building blocks of polyhydroxybutyrate, or PHB) are all types of biopolymers. In the food business, biopolymers are often used as thickeners. In medicine, biodegradable sutures are used, and biopolymers are used instead of plastic in eco-friendly packaging. Because they are renewable and biodegradable, they help cut down on waste and protect the environment.
