As we have learned 

Electrical Resistance -

R=\frac{\rho\ l}{A}  

- wherein

\rho= resistivity of the substance

l = length

A = Area

 

 R = \frac{\rho l}{A} = \frac{0.5*6}{3}= 1\Omega
