Species without a plane of symmetry and centre of symmetry are optically active and have enantiomeric pairs. Enantiomers have a mirror image which is not superimposable on each other.

Here  \left [ Co{(en)_3} \right ]^{3+}is optically active as it does not have symmetry elements.

Therefore, option (2) is correct.
