Henry's Law has several real-life applications, and one of the most common examples is the carbonation of soft drinks. In this process, carbon dioxide gas is dissolved in water under pressure, which increases the solubility of the gas in the liquid according to Henry's Law. When the pressure is released, the gas comes out of solution and forms bubbles, creating the fizzing sensation in the soft drink.
