Ambident nucleophile -

Nucleophiles having two different nucleophiles centres are called ambident nucleophile.

For example:-

^{-}C\equiv N:

NO_{2}^{-}

Now, SCN^\circleddash , CN^\circleddash  ,   have two nucleophilic centres each, depending upon the reaction conditions the different side of nucleophile can be attached to a substrate. But R-OH has only one nucleophile centre (Only oxygen ) so it is not an ambident nucleophile.

Therefore, option (4) is correct.
