 (iv)     \frac{1}{\sqrt{2}}

Given number is \frac{1}{\sqrt{2}}

\Rightarrow \frac{1}{\sqrt{2}}= \frac{\sqrt{2}}{2}=\frac{1.41421356..}{2} =0.7071068...
Now,
Clearly, as the decimal expansion of this expression is non-terminating and non-recurring. Therefore, it is an irrational number.
