To convert the data into a pie chart, calculate the percentage of the work to the total hours. 

The total number of hours in a day is $24$ hours. 

Central angle for hours spent in sleep $=\frac{8}{24} \times 360^{\circ}=\frac{1}{3} \times 360^{\circ}=120^{\circ}$

Central angle for hours spent in school $=\frac{6}{24} \times 360^{\circ}=\frac{1}{4} \times 360^{\circ}=90^{\circ}$

Central angle for hours spent in homework $=\frac{4}{24} \times 360^{\circ}=\frac{1}{6} \times 360^{\circ}=60^{\circ}$

Central angle for hours spent in playing $=\frac{4}{24} \times 360^{\circ}=\frac{1}{6} \times 360^{\circ}=60^{\circ}$

Central angle for hours in others $=\frac{2}{24} \times 360^{\circ}=\frac{1}{12} \times 360^{\circ}=30^{\circ}$
