           (2, 3, 5) and (4, 3, 1)

The distance between two points (x_1,y_1,z_1) and (x_2,y_2,z_2) is given by

d=\sqrt{(x_2-x_1)^2+(y_2-y_1)^2+(z_2-z_1)^2}

So, distance between  (2, 3, 5) and (4, 3, 1) is given by 

d=\sqrt{(4-2)^2+(3-3)^2+(1-5)^2}

d=\sqrt{4+0+16}

d=\sqrt{20}

d=2\sqrt{5}
