The mean of the above data is given by

\\\bar{X}=\frac{\sum_{i=1}^{8}f_{i}x_{i}}{\sum_{i=1}^{8}f_{i}}\\ \bar{X}=\frac{305000}{60}\\ \bar{X}=5083.33

The mean salary of the workers working in the factory is Rs 5083.33
