Given polynomial is  5x - 4x^2 +3 

Now, at x = -1  value is 

\Rightarrow 5(-1)-4(-1)^2+3 = -5 - 4 + 3 = -6

Therefore, value of polynomial 5x - 4x^2 +3 at x = -1 is  -6
