$\begin{bmatrix} 2x^{2} & 0& 0\\ 0& 6y^{2} & 0\\ 0 & 0 &3z^{2}\end{bmatrix}$ $= \begin{bmatrix} 1 & 0& 0\\ 0 & 1 & 0\\ 0 & 0 &1\end{bmatrix}$

Thus equating the terms elementwise

$2x^{2} = 1$ $6y^{2} = 1$ $3z^{2} = 1$

$x^{2} = \frac{1}{2}$ $y^{2} = \frac{1}{6}$ $z^{2}=\frac{1}{3}$

$x = \pm \frac{1}{\sqrt{2}}$ $y= \pm \frac{1}{\sqrt{6}}$ $z=\pm \frac{1}{\sqrt{3}}$
