As we know,

1\: mole=6.022\times10^{23}\:atoms

Now, 

the mass of 1 mole or 6.022\times10^{23}\:atoms  = 12  g

The mass of 1 atom :

 =\frac{12}{6.022\times10^{23}}=1.99\times 10^{-23}\:g

Hence the mass of 1 atom of Carbon is  1.99\times 10^{-23}\:g .
