(i) 1 \div a = 1 is true only for a =1.

(ii) a \div (-1) = - a

Taking, a =1; 1\div (-1) = -1

a =2; 2\div (-1) = -2

a =-1; (-1)\div (-1) = 1

Hence, this is true for every integer .
