\\\text{Let's take an example} \\ \begin{array}{l} A=\{a,b\} \\ B=\{a,b,c\} \end{array} \\ \text{Every element of A is in B.} \\ \text{So, A is a subset of B} \\ \text { i.e. } A \subset B \\\\ \begin{aligned} A \cup B &=\{a,b\} \cup\{a,b,c\} \\ &=\{a,b,c\} \\ &=B \end{aligned}
