5. The number of hours for which students of a particular class watched television during holidays is shown through the given graph.     Answer the following.(ii) How many students watched TV for less than hours?

(ii) 34 students watched TV for less than hours.

The number of students who watched TV for less than 4 hours = sum of  the students who watched TV for (3–4hours) + (2–3hours) + (1–2hours.)

So, the total number of students = 4 + 8 + 22 = 34
