Solution.
We know that 
A point in the first quadrant is (+, +)
A point in the second quadrant is (–, +)
A point in the third quadrant is (–, –)
A point in the fourth quadrant is (+, –)

Here (-5, 2) and (2, -5) both are lie in the different quadrants. 
Point (-5, 2) lies in the II quadrant and point (2, -5)is lies in the IV quadrant.
