We know,

(x+a)(x+b)=x^2+(a+b)x+ab

Using this formula,

5.1\times 5.2 = (5 + 0.1)(5 + 0.2) 

Here x =5, a = 0.1, b = 0.2

\therefore 5.1\times 5.2  =5^2+(0.1 + 0.2)5+(0.1\times0.2)

= 25+1.5+0.02

= 26.52
