We know that the oxidation state of  calcium is +2
let oxidation state P be x
\\3(+2) + 2(x) = 0\\ 6 + 2x = 0\\ 2x = -6\\ x = -6 / 2\\ x = -3

Hence the oxidation state of the phosphorus is -3
