\\(a) \\\\ \begin{aligned} &7(8-3)\\ &\text { [when we will open bracket } 8 \text { and } 3 \text { will be multiplied by } 7 \text { ] }\\ &=(7 \times 8)-(7 \times 3)\\ &=56-21\\ &=35 \end{aligned}

\\(b) \\\\ \begin{aligned} &(7+2)(10-3)\\ &\text { [we will open one of the brackets] }\\ &7(10-3)+2(10-3)\\ &=\{(7 \times 10)-(7 \times 3)+\{(2 \times 10-2 \times 3)\}\\ &=\{70-21\}+\{20-6\}\\ &=49+14\\ &=63 \end{aligned}
