x + 7 - 8x/3 = 17/6 - 5x/8​

and check if LHS = RHS

LHS

4+7-32/3 = 11 - 32/3 = 1/3

RHS

17/6 - 20/8 =  1/3

LHS = RHS

x = 4 s a solution of the equation
