(a) Organs that form the excretory system in human beings are:

  • kidneys
  • urinary bladder
  • ureters
  • urethra

(b) Urine is a waste chemical compounds which are formed in the kidneys by the process of filtration of blood. As our body produces wastes like urea and uric acid and many other which later being released in the form of urine. Inside our kidney, nephrons are present which are the basic structures that helps in that filtration process. Nephrons has two parts:

  • Bowman's capsule
  • Renal Tubule

Bowman's capsule is a cup-shaped coiled tube which has blood capillary that is glomerulus, as this helps in filtering out the blood. Some of the substances like glucose, amino acids, and some salts gets absorbed selectively along with the major amount of water, and excess water gets re-absorbed. Then rest of the liquid moves within the collecting duct towards the urinary bladder to get stored.
