Solution :   1 . We have ,

                   l= Length of plastic box = 1.5 m

                   b= Breadth of plastic box =1.25 m

                  h= Height of plastic box =65cm=0.65m

Total surface area of the plastic  box =lb+2(bh+lh)

                                                           =left  1.5 	imes 1.245+2(1.25	imes0.65+0.65	imes1.5)
ight m^2

                                                            =(1.875+3.575)m^2=5.45m^2

Hence , area of the sheet required for making the box is 5.45m^2

2. Since 1m^2 sheet cost Rs 20 . therefore,

            cost of the required for making the box = Area of the sheet 	imes rate per sq. meter

                                                                            = Rs(5.45	imes20)=Rs109
