Solution:  1. We have , 

               Length =30 cm , breadth = 25cm  and height = 25cm

herefore            Area of the glass = Total surface area of the cuboid of the length 30cm, breadth 25cm, and height  25cm.

                                         =2(30 imes25+25 imes25+30 imes25)cm^2                     [ecause surface area =2(lb+bh+lh)]

                                         =2(750+625+750)cm^2=4250cm^2

 

2.   Length of tape = Length of the all 12 edges 

                              = 4(Length + Breadth + Height )= 4(30+25+25)cm=320cm
