Amit bought 400 kg of sugar for Rs 18000 and sold it all at the rate of Rs 50 per kg. How much profit did he make

Answers (1)

400 kg for 18000

1 kg cost 18000/400=180/4=45 rupees

selling for 50 per kg Amit gets 50x400=20000 rupees

So, profit made = 20000-18000=2000 rupees
