'Analogous organs are a result of convergent evolution'-

Wings of birds and butterfly look alike as they are not anatomically similar but perform similar functions and such organs are called analogous, as because of convergent evolution they have different structures which evolve for the same functions.

'Homologous organs are a result of divergent evolution'-

Bones of forelimbs in bats-humans-cheetah have a similar structure to
perform different functions, and this is due to their different habitat and demands and these structures are said to be homologous, which show divergent evolution.
