My first day at school

My first day at school in my present school was in class first. The name of my school is St. Mary School, Punjabi Bagh. I was 6 years old when I took admission in this school. My first dayd  I sat with a girl on last bench. Her name was Meharpreet Kaur. She is still my best friend. We exchanged our lunch on first day and still share lunch in school after all these years. I remembered my class first teacher Mrs. Seema and that she was very kind and beautiful . I remembered learning alphabets and words and their pronunciation. I remembered the colour of my class teacher's saree and our school uniform,  it was of blue colour. I remember drawing shapes such as circle, square, rectangle and triangle. It was the first day of my life when I spent so much time on my own in school and I missed my parents. I remember after school got over, I ran and hugged my mother.
