Utility of Park in India

Park are places that have trees, grasses, swings, space for walking and running. Parks are especially constructed to maintain the balance of infrastructure and nature. Parks serve various functions. They are sources of oxygen, relaxation, entertainment and peace. Parks helps us to maintain the balance of urban buildings and nature. 

Parks are an essential infrastructure in urban areas where there is lack of natural vegetation. Thus, parks are as important as bridges, roads and buildings. By building parks the value of a residential area increases. It can also be seen that people may tend to exercise more if they have to  live near a park area. Also, access to parks improve one's quality of life and standards as people are more likely to engage in conversations with other people and build a community life. These are essential for survival of human beings. 

Parks are of various kinds such as Children's park, national park etc. Some parks like national parks are created for the protection of flora and fauna in this area. By flora and fauna we mean the trees, forests, plants and animals living in the park area. Another term used for variety of plants and animals is biodiversity. Biodiversity is a broader term which involves all things living in an environment such as plants, animals, bacterias and human being. Survival of both plants, bacteria, animals and humans is required for maintainenace of our ecosystem.
