Both plant and animal cells are the basic and fundamental unit of life.
Differences between plant and animal cells are:

- An animal cell does not contain plastics where plant cell contains lasts to perform the process of photosynthesis.
- Vacuoles in plant cells are comparatively larger in size to animal cells.
- Vacuoles in plant cells are present in the center whereas, in animal cells, vacuoles are present on either side.
