Both plant and animal cells are the basic and fundamental unit of life.

Differences between plant and animal cells are:

  • The plant has a cell wall where animals do to have a cell wall instead, they have a cell membrane.
  • An animal cell does not contain plastics where plant cell contains lasts to perform the process of photosynthesis.
  • Vacuoles in plant cells are comparatively larger in size to animal cells.
  • Vacuoles in plant cells are present in the center whereas, in animal cells, vacuoles are present on either side.
