Define the following terms with a suitable example of each :
(a) Chelate complex
(b) Ambidentate ligand
(a) Chelate complex: The complex formed by the ligand that contains two donor atoms positioned in a way such that a five or six numbered ring is formed with the mi ion. The ring formed is called chelate ring.
