  • Blood is a fluid connective tissue and suspended in a fluid medium called plasma.

    • WBCs (White blood cells)

    • Platelets 

  • Function of blood :

    • Blood helps  to transport food, oxygen, carbon dioxide, nitrogenous wastes and salts in the dissolved form.

Oxygen is carried by red blood cells.
