The function of the heat is to pump blood to different parts of the body. It receives the deoxygenated blood from different organs of the body and sends it to the lungs to remove carbon dioxide and add oxygen to it. When oxygenated blood is received back in the heat, it pumps oxygenated blood to different parts of the body.
