Convex lens

Given,    u = 25 \ cm,    f = 15 \ cm

    \frac{1}{v} - \frac{1}{u} = \frac{1}{f}

    \frac{1}{v} + \frac{1}{25} = \frac{1}{15}

    \frac{1}{v} = \frac{1}{15}- \frac{1}{25}

    v = 37.5\ cm

Size of image

    \frac{v}{u} = \frac{h_2}{h_1}

    \frac{37.5}{-25} = \frac{h_2}{h_1}

    h_2 = \frac{37.5}{-25}\times 4 = -6cm
