The circuit diagram of a full-wave rectifier.

The working principle of full rectifier ;

It uses the principle of operation of the diode in forward and reverse bias condition. During the positive half cycle of the AC input wave, D1 is forward bias and D2 is reverse bias. We get a positive output at the voltage. During the negative half cycle of the AC input wave, D2 is forward bias and D1 is reverse bias. We get a positive output at the voltage.
